Native to China. This is an extremely attractive small deciduous tree. The broad green, heart-shaped foliage changes to an array of colours in autumn. Its little fruits contain three seeds that are encased in a waxy material. Suitable for any landscape providing shade and colour. Performs best in well drained rich soil.
