A smaller species of the flowering Marri, this tree produces pink blooms followed by urn-shaped capsules. Late in the summer, flowers bloom profusely and in magnificent displays. Because of its ability to be cross pollinated by other gum trees, seedlings from these trees do not always come entirely true to colour. Highly sought after, a useful and beautiful tree. Suitable for street tree planting and small gardens.
