This weeping multi-trunk tree with pendulous leaves, has masses of vivid red bottlebrush flowers at the tip of its branches. It blooms throughout the spring and summer and is bird and bee attracting. Its fruit is known as a capsule, and its shape is similar to that of a woody cup.
